How to Enable Storis for Local Inventory

The following instructions walk you through the setup for Local Inventory with Storis.

 

Requirements/Tools Need:

  • Sign in to my.catalogkiosk.com using the Google Chrome Browser
  • Subscription to Wondersign's Retail Essentials plan 
  • Credentials for your Storis Account (see steps 3a and 3b below)

Getting Started

1. In your Wondersign Commerce Automation Manager (CAM) account, click your email address in the top right corner, then select Integrations from the drop-down menu.

2. Under Integrations, locate the Storis tile and click Connect.

3. Inside the Storis Integration settings, the General Information section requires a valid Username (Storis User) and Password (Storis Password). Enter the credentials into these fields. 

To obtain your Storis username and password, see steps 3a and 3b below.

3a. Log into the Storis portal: https://api.storis.com/Identity/Account/Login

3b. Once logged into the portal, click the Store button on the left side menu. The Username is in the top right corner (email address the user maintains in the Storis web portal), and the key in the Secret field is the Password. Copy the Username and Password, then paste them into CAM.

4. After entering your Storis Username and Password, click the Verify button.

5. Next to Verify, there should be a green Authentication successful message displayed. You'll also notice that the Setup Guide has a green check mark for completion of the 1st step, Enter and verify authentication data for Storis.

Please note: If the credentials are incorrect, error messages will appear ("Authentication failed" and "Username or secret is incorrect"). Please check that the Username and Password are correct, click OK and try again.

6. The next step under General Information is the Inventory Sync Service section. Toggle the Enable button on.

7. With the Inventory Sync enabled (button turned to blue), please make sure that the Get Vendors and Get Locations fields and buttons are displayed.

8. Click on Get Vendors button and the service will begin Getting Vendors...

9. The list of vendors should now be displayed in Vendors mapping.

10. Search for each of your vendor(s) and map it to the corresponding vendor(s) in your Wondersign CAM account. For example: ASHLEY FURNITURE IND. is mapped to Ashley.

11. When all vendors have been mapped, scroll down to Get Locations and click the blue button.

12. For Choose Locations, click the --Chose a location-- search field to access up a drop-down menu of available options.

13. Select the desired location(s). For example: MESQUITE WAREHOUSE

14. Scroll to the top of the page, and the Setup Guide should now have 2 green check marks for completing the following actions. Click the green Save Changes button. 

  • 1st step (Enter and verify authentication data for Storis)
  • 2nd step (Enable one or multiple integration services)

15. A green confirmation message will appear temporarily in the top right corner, The Inventory Sync has been activated. Click Integrations (on the left) to navigate back to the main Integrations page.

16. On the Integrations page, the Storis integration will have a green check mark and will be listed under Active Integrations.
