Reconnect to Wi-Fi: 24" or Larger Touchscreen (Chromebox)

Use these steps if your kiosk runs on a Chromebox and can no longer connect to the internet after a Wi-Fi password change or Internet provider switch.

Requirements / Tools Needed

  • USB keyboard

Steps

  1. Power Off / Connect Keyboard: Make sure the Chromebox is completely powered off. Connect the USB keyboard to the front USB port on the Chromebox. Then press the power button to turn it on.


  2. Access Network Settings: While the Chromebox is starting up, repeatedly press Ctrl + Alt + S on the USB keyboard. If successful, a "No Network Available" page will appear on the screen.



  3. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter the Wi-Fi password in the "Join Wi-Fi network" screen and tap Connect.



  4. Launch the Catalog Kiosk App: Once the Chromebox is connected to the network, click Apps in the bottom left corner of the screen. Then click Wondersign Catalog Kiosk to launch the app.
