Set Manufacturer Specifics for "In Stock" Status
The Real-Time Inventory feature allows you to define manufacturer-specific criteria for an item to be considered "In Stock".
Please Note: Local inventory data is not affected by the stock quantity settings. If an item has "In Stock" local inventory, it will appear in the filter results. The manufacturer stock count and status are still available on the individual product page.
1. Select Settings from the Account menu drop-down.
2. Select the Manufacturer Inventory tab.
3. Use the text box to define the Minimum Stock Quantity for "In-Stock" Items. The numeric value represents the minimum number of sellable units available from the manufacturer for an item to be considered "In Stock" when using the Availability inventory filter in the app.
Example: A high-velocity manufacturer might still display 5 units in their warehouses, but realistically by the time you will place an order, they are gone. In this case, it is recommended to set the minimum
in-stock quantity at "5" or higher.
4. Click Save Changes.
Set Manufacturer Requirements for "Backordered" Status
The Real-Time Inventory feature allows you to set manufacturer-specific criteria for an item to be considered "Coming Soon" when using manufacturer inventory data.
Please Note: Local inventory data is not affected by the lead time settings. If an item has "Future Availability" for local inventory, it will appear in the filter results. The manufacturer lead time
and status are still available on the individual product page.
1. Select Settings from the Account menu drop-down.
2. Select the Manufacturer Inventory tab.
3. Use the text box to define the Maximum Lead Time for "Backorder" Items.
The numeric value represents the maximum number of days until the item is back in stock at the manufacturer for an item to be considered "Coming Soon" when using the Availability inventory filter in the app.
Example: If you don't want to display any backordered items if they are more than two months out, simply enter "60" into the text field. This will exclude items from being shown as "Coming Soon" if they are more than 60 days out.
4. Click Save Changes.
