Your kiosk's performance can be maximized limiting the number of images stored and adjusting the filter range limitations. Avoid reaching a device's storage capacity by limiting the number of images per product. Display products faster, by defaulting to the first 1,000 items in each category.
Requirements/Tools Needed:
Sign in to my.catalogkiosk.com using the Google Chrome web browser
Getting Started
1. Click the Devices tab in the top navigation.
2. Click the Settings button in the Device Groups side panel on the right.
3. Click the Advanced Configuration menu to expand the section.
4. Scroll down to the setting for Image Offline Storage.
If you would like an Unlimited number of images stored on your device select Unlimited.
If you would like to limit the number of images stored on your device select Limit To and use the drop-down menu to select between 1 and 9 images per product.
Please Note: The default 4 images include 1 main product image and 3 additional images.
Adjusting Filter Range Limit
1. Click the Devices tab in the top navigation.
2. Click the Settings button in the Device Groups side panel on the right.
3. Click the Advanced Configuration menu to expand the section.
4. Scroll down to the settings for Filter Range Limit.
Select Limit to the first 1,000 Items (Default) to search the first 1,000 items to populate filter options and product results. [Best for retailers not using a mixed brand catalog or who have Brand filter option and information hidden]
Select No Limit to allow the search of all available products. [Best for retailers with multi-brand catalogs that use the Brand filter option to narrow down results]
Please Note: Removing the limit may impact your device performance and can increase the loading time on the category page.
