The Catalog App Manager provides the ability to create or edit categories that are setup onto the kiosk. This customization personalizes the experience of the kiosk to your store.
Requirements/Tools Needed:
- Sign in to my.catalogkiosk.com using the Google Chrome web browser.
Getting Started
1. Under the Content tab, select Categories.
2. You will see any existing categories that have been setup on the account. To setup a new category, click Create Category.
3. The screen below will begin the creation of the category, setting "Visible on Devices" to "Show" will ensure the category gets added the product lineup on all devices. In the spaces provided enter the name of the Category, and select the Parent Category.
4. The following screen appears to allow you to select the products that will be included. Select Add Products to begin adding the products to the category.
5. The following screen appears. In the space provided select the sub category that includes the products that you are wanting to include. The drop-down menu will update as you enter the information for the search results.
6. Select Display Products, and to the right select the products that will be added to the category. Picking Select All will include all products that are categorized in the sub-category that was selected, alternatively, selecting the box next to the product will allow for select product to be added to the category.
7. Once the products have been added, selecting Add To Category will include the products into the category.
8. The Products Assigned tab will include all products that were added into the category, to finalize the changes select Save Changes.
Creating a Sub-Category
1. Under the Content tab select the Categories option:
2. The category select the gear option, then select Add Sub-Category.
3. The screen below will begin the creation of the category, setting "Do Not Display on Any Device" to "False" will ensure the category gets added the product lineup on all devices. In the spaces provided enter the name of the Sub-Category, and select the Parent Category.
4. The following screen will appear that will allow for you to select the products that will be included. Select Add Products to begin adding the products to the sub-category.
5. The following screen will appear, in the space provided select the sub category that includes the products that you are wanting to include. The drop-down menu will update as you enter the information for the search results.
6. Select Display Products, and to the right select the products that will be added to the sub-category. Picking Select All will include all products that are categorized in the sub-category that was selected, alternatively, selecting the box next to the product will allow for individual product added to the category.
7. Once the products have been added, selecting Add to Category will include the products into the sub-category.
8. The Products Assigned tab will include all products that were added into the sub-category, to finalize the changes select Save Changes.
